Bienvenido!
La Asociación internacional para la prevención del suicidio tiene por objetivo:
- la prevención de comportamientos suicidas,
- reducir las repercusiones asociadas a estos, y
- proporcionar un lugar de intercambio para los investigadores, profesionales de la salud mental, ayudantes en situaciones de crisis, voluntarios y enlutados por suicidio.
La Asociación internacional para la prevención del suicidio fue fundada por el Profesor Erwin Ringel y Dr. Norman Farberow en 1960. Desde entonces, profesionales y voluntarios de más de cincuenta países se han incorporado a sus filas. La AIPS es una organización no gubernamental vinculada oficialmente a la Organización mundial de la salud con el fin de prevenir el suicidio.
Si usted se siente suicida o sabe de alguien que necesita ayuda, busque AYUDA para encontrar un centro de crisis en cualquier parte del mundo.
