Calling All IASP Members,
The International Association for Suicide Prevention (IASP) has officially opened the nomination process for its 2025-2028 Executive Committee (Board) elections. This is a vital opportunity for members to participate in shaping the future of the organization, ensuring strong leadership towards our mission to prevent suicide and suicidal behaviour.
The current IASP Executive Committee (Board) term concludes on 31st December 2024 with the new term beginning on 1 January 2025. Ballots will open for elections for the Executive Committee on 11th November 2024 and therefore Election Committee are calling for nominations.
All Board positions are open for election, as follows:
4 year term (1 January 2025 – 31 December 2028)
- President
- Treasurer
- General Secretary
2 year term (1 January 2025 – 31 December 2026)
- Vice President (1)
- Vice President (2)
- Vice President (3)
Nominations will close on 27th October 2024 and will be followed by the elections from 11th November 2024 –1st December 2024.

Only members who are up to date with their membership dues are eligible to submit a nomination. You may renew your membership online or by downloading a form from our website.
