Suicide Review of Risk Factors, Demographics, Screening, and Treatment for Pediatrics

Suicide is the second-leading cause of death for 10- to 19-year-olds nationally, and most children and adolescents who attempt suicide show warning signs. In this webinar on World Suicide Prevention Day, behavioral and mental health leaders will provide an overview of screening tools used to evaluate the risk of suicide in patients and proper documentation of risk in medical records. We will also highlight intervention methods, resources, and treatment options for patients as well as describe the risk and liabilities related to patients at risk of suicide.
