Mental Health & Suicide Prevention Drop-in Day

Welcome to Healthwatch Hammersmith and Fulham’s Mental Health & Suicide Prevention Community Drop-in Day!
As part of World Suicide Prevention Day (10 September) campaigns, all H&F residents are invited to come along to Healthwatch H&f’s free, friendly and interactive community drop-in event taking place in Shepherds Bush Market to find out more about the mental health and suicide prevention services, support and resources available in our local area.
Join us for an interactive and supportive day!
Whether you’re struggling yourself or want to learn how to help others, this event is for you. Come by for a chat, advice, pick up some information, and relax in a safe space.
Who: Everyone across H&F is welcome! All ages.
Where: The event is split across 2 sites in Shepherds Bush Market, London, W12 (close to the Goldhawk Road entrance):
- For visiting services at stalls = Arch 172A (Next to Footsie 101 / What3Words = spirit.moon.begin)
- For trainings, workshops and yoga and breathwork = Shop 28 (2 doors up from The Grill Master / What3Words = racing.risks.tried)
Cost: Free! Plus enjoy light refreshments from local traders.
Why you should attend:
- You can learn about local mental health and suicide prevention services, support and resources
- You can boost your confidence by gaining the knowledge to reach out for help when needed – or help others in need
Engage in fun activities:
- Relax with breathwork and yoga sessions with local yoga instructor Aliyah
- Learn to manage stress and anxiety through a 1-hour workshop hosted by H&F Talking Therapies (West London NHS Trust)
- Participate in life-saving suicide awareness training hosted by the Zero Suicide Alliance.
Why it matters: One suicide is one suicide too many. Together, we can help prevent suicide and support each other’s mental health.
