Australasian Research Workshop 2024

The 2024 IASP Australasian Research Workshop has a fantastic line-up of experts and leaders and aims to develop collaborations and discuss the challenges faced in suicide prevention.

IASP research workshops are a unique opportunity for researchers to engage in an intimate setting to share expertise, exchange knowledge and collaborate with peers in the field of suicide prevention. The Australasian Research Workshop 2024 will feature interactive sessions where researchers can showcase their work, receive constructive feedback, and identify potential areas for collaboration. Attendees will also have the opportunity to discuss challenges faced in their research and collectively deliberate innovative solutions.

Monday 19 February 2024 | Learning and Development Hui: Suicide Pre and Postvention 

This additional day will provide an opportunity for those working in the suicide prevention and postvention sector to gain an update on the latest evidence in the field. We have Lynne Russell, Witi Ashby, Jane Pirkis, Matthew Spittal and Keith Hawton sharing their insights, as well as several workshops that will facilitate shared learning and development.

Clinical Advisory Services Aotearoa (CASA) has a model of working alongside groups and organisations that acknowledges the strengths both parties bring to the relationship. 

CASA brings a broad range of knowledge, skills and experience in the areas of suicide prevention and postvention as well as broader areas of mental health and wellbeing. Our kaupapa is to share our clinical expertise through training, supervision, support and consultancy. 

CASA have a particular emphasis on the delivery of effective suicide prevention and postvention services to organisations and communities.
