2023 World Congress Abstract Portals are now closed
Abstract acceptance notifications will be sent on Monday 1 May 2023.
All abstracts will be reviewed and given a weighted score based on:
Level of content excellence relevant to the field; Originality; Methodology
If submitting for Symposium presentations,
- ensure that you supply ALL related abstracts, authors and their affiliations and nominate a Chair. Symposia abstracts may contain between 3 and 5 presentations. If accepted, regardless of the number of presentations contained with the symposia, the time allowance will be a total of 90 minutes. This will be inclusive of Q&A.
- The portal will provide you with a ‘theme’ selection, please choose one only followed by a ‘keyword’ selection. You may choose multiple keywords to associate with your submission.
- The total word count for your abstract submission is 1200. This is exclusive of the Title, Author and Affiliations.
The portal for symposia is now closed.
If submitting for Workshop presentations,
- ensure that you supply ALL related abstracts, authors and their affiliations and nominate your facilitators (a minimum of 3).
- By definition, a Workshop should be interactive with delegates, this should be reflected in your abstract
- The time allowance will be a total of 90 minutes. This will be inclusive of Q&A.
- The portal will provide you with a ‘theme’ selection, please choose one only followed by a ‘keyword’ selection. You may choose multiple keywords to associate with your submission.
- The total word count for your abstract submission is 1200. This is exclusive of the Title, Author and Affiliations.
The portal for workshops is now closed.
If submitting for a Oral presentation,
- ensure that you supply your abstract, authors and their affiliations and nominate your presenter.
- All accepted oral presentations will be provided with a 15 minutes (inclusive of Q&A) presentation allowance
- The submission portal will provide you with a ‘theme’ selection, please choose one only followed by a ‘keyword’ selection. You may choose multiple keywords to associate with your submission.
- The total word count for your abstract submission is 400. This is exclusive of the Title, Authors and Affiliations.

The portal for oral presentations is now closed.
If submitting for a Poster presentation,
- ensure that you supply your abstract, authors and their affiliations and nominate your presenter.
- All accepted Poster presentations will be in digital form. Authors will receive a schedule to ‘talk to their posters’ closer to the congress opening date.
- The submission portal will provide you with a ‘theme’ selection, please choose one only followed by a ‘keyword’ selection. You may choose multiple keywords to associate with your submission.
- The total word count for your abstract submission is 400. This is exclusive of the Title, Authors and Affiliations.
