IASP is delighted to announce the winners of the poster and lightning poster sessions at the 11th Asia Pacific Conference in Bangkok.
It’s the last day of the conference and what an incredible privilege to be a part of a community leading suicide prevention efforts from all over the world.
Existing connections are deepening and you can see the different networks beginning to form. For me, it’s rather nice stepping out of the lift and seeing familiar faces with whom I can engage and chat with.
Delegates are asked to follow language guidelines for best practice public communication of suicide. These aim to reduce the risk of harm while increasing awareness and understanding of suicide and its complexities.
As we prepare for the IASP 11th Asia Pacific Conference, we acknowledge the profound importance and sensitivity of discussing suicide. To ensure our conversations are conducted with the utmost care and respect, we encourage you to view the language guidance videos on safe language practices. This resource has been designed in collaboration with StandBy Support After Suicide to help us navigate the topic of suicide with empathy and responsibility, fostering a supportive environment for all attendees.
