University of Primorska, Andrej Marušič Institute, Slovene Centre for Suicide Research
The Slovenian Center for Suicide Research at the Andrej Marušič Institute (UP IAM) was founded in 2011, in memory of the work of a late colleague Assoc Prof Andrej Marušič and in order to continue his work. The center is involved in European and national projects in the field of studying and preventing suicide.

Since 2007, the De Leo Fund has been involved in providing free psychological support to people who have suffered traumatic mourning, or the loss of a loved one in a sudden, unexpected and violent way, such as for example from an accident on the road or at work, suicide, homicide, natural disaster.
