Dr Christopher Drapeau

Dr Christopher Drapeau is a licensed psychologist and the Director of Research & Evaluation for the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline Administrator (Vibrant Emotional Health, United States) where he is responsible for leading and guiding the 988 Lifeline in research and evaluation initiatives, dissemination efforts, and the development of external research collaborations. Prior to working for the 988 Lifeline, Dr Drapeau oversaw suicide prevention efforts and the initial planning and implementation of the State of Indiana’s 988 and behavioural health crisis care system. He is a former university professor, currently serving as a Visiting Scholar in the Irsay Institute at Indiana University where he continues to publish national suicide mortality data sheets and research broadly focused on the topic of suicide.
