Josh Nguyen is a PhD candidate at the Centre for Youth Mental Health, The University of Melbourne, where his research focuses on developing accurate machine learning models to predict suicide ideation and attempts among youth. As a clinical psychologist, Josh leads a private practice that primarily serves LGBTQ+ individuals and people of colour, providing culturally sensitive and affirming mental health care. Josh is also the founder of the Asian Mental Health Professional Network in Australia, a pioneering initiative that brings together Asian therapists to amplify their impact within Asian communities.
