AFSP Georgia invites you to a free, online event for anyone who has been affected by or struggling with suicide, as we pay tribute to loved ones through a ceremonial lighting of candles. The Candlelight Vigil is an inspiring night to commemorate those who have lost their lives and recognize those who survived. Join us and learn more about suicide prevention and ways you can support this important effort.
The program takes place on Tuesday, September 10th, World Suicide Prevention Day, from 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. and will include guest speakers on a variety of topics.
As the presentation is getting started, we will be sharing a slideshow honoring those we have lost. If you would like a photo of your loved one to be featured in the slideshow, please complete the following form: https://forms.gle/am2r18rLc9Vqs5ps7
Along with your photo, please share their name, their age when they passed and their connection to you. We will also ask some of you to share this infomation on the call if you are comfortable.
For the candlelight vigil portion of the event, please have a candle, lighter and photo of the love ones you would like to honor.
